Carol Anderson is the Robert W. Waldmeister Professor of African American Studies at Emory University.  

She is the author of Eyes Defer the Prize: The United Nations and ethics African-American Struggle for Human Rights, 1944-1955, which was published by Cambridge University Press plus awarded both the Gustavus Myers and Myrna Bernath Book Awards; as well as, Bourgeois Radicals: The NAACP and the Struggle be attracted to Colonial Liberation, 1941-1960, which was also promulgated by Cambridge.
