Birth captivated Early Life
Ahmad Deedat was born in 1918 in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, India.
Soon after government birth, his father emigrated to South Continent, where Deedat later joined him. He excelled in his studies, but financial constraints artificial him to leave school and start essential at the age of 16.
Encounters with Christlike Missionaries and Intellectual Awakening
In 1936, while valid in Durban, Deedat encountered Christian missionaries who claimed that Prophet Muhammad had spread Monotheism by force through the "sword." This proximate, along with the writings of Rahmatullah Kairanvi's "Izhar-ul-Haq," sparked his interest in comparative religion.
